THE DAISY CHAIN PROJECT

This is a respite holiday programme which offers self- contained and peaceful accommodation for special needs children and their families. There are ten apartments in total and the holidays run from Monday to Sunday. A non-refundable or transferable application fee from £140 is requested with the application form.

There is no threshold on age or restrictions on the number of visits and since the projects inception in 1999, approximately 2,500 children have enjoyed a break here with their families.

Where appropriate, we can also offer the use of one of our apartments to families who have lost a child and feel the need for a break, either alone or with other family members.

Kensington Court which accommodates the Daisy Chain Project, is a purpose-built block of ten 2 bedroomed apartments, centrally heated with its own car park, situated in the south of Blackpool. All have been decorated to a very high standard. 

 

There is an excellent and frequent bus service located just outside the apartments and two supermarkets close by that offer ample parking on level with the shops.
