Our Community Food Cupboard was opened in 2019 to address the distressing levels of poverty we were witnessing during our weekly Crisis Grant Line Furniture assessment visits, leading us to provide food parcels where appropriate.

The Foundation has always understood the level of deprivation leading to food poverty and has been actively involved in the work of those seeking to address this need, through many different Agencies and Soup Kitchens as well as fulfilling our own remit.

There are occasions, due to varying circumstances, when we ourselves continue to provide longer term support, until the immediate crisis has passed.
