ABOUT OUR FOUNDATION
The Kensington Foundation is a Blackpool-based charity whose objectives are "to promote the relief of homelessness, poverty, deprivation and distress." Currently we fund and manage the following projects:
The Daisy Chain Project: holiday accommodation for respite breaks
The Crisis Grant Line: grant-aid to those in need of assistance
Jack In The Box: free toys for families in need
Community Food Cupboard: provision of food
This is a respite holiday programme which offers self-contained and peaceful accommodation for special needs children and their families. There are ten apartments in total and the holidays run from Monday to Sunday. Read more…
Our Furniture Recycling Service and Crisis Grant Line is offered to applicants who reside in the Blackpool and Fylde area and has been in operation since 1995. Read more…
